Job Description:

This Cath Lab Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity in a busy acute care hospital setting. The role involves overseeing cardiac catheterization procedures, assisting with complex interventions, and ensuring patient safety during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The assignment features rotating 10-hour day shifts, with a mix of early morning and late morning start times. Travelers will experience a variety of cases, including electrophysiology procedures, providing a chance to sharpen specialized skills. No two weeks are exactly alike, as shifts are grouped for consistency but may vary to accommodate procedure schedules. This role requires a minimum of two years of cath lab experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and valid South Carolina or compact license before start. Radiation badges are mandatory and will be provided by the staffing agency. The work environment emphasizes teamwork and precision, making every procedure important and each day rewarding.
