Job Description:

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist specialized in Pediatrics and Neuro Diagnostics for a 26-week contract at an acute hospital. This role involves working in a 28-bed adult ICU, 9-bed PICU, and 66-bed level 3 NICU, with responsibilities including administering various RT therapies such as NIV, high flow, nebulizers, and nitric oxide. The therapist will cover multiple units, including NICU, PICU, and adult ICU, and must be comfortable floating within scope to meet patient needs. The position features a night shift schedule (3x12 hours) and requires at least two years of recent PICU or NICU experience, with a preference for familiarity with Draeger vents, Servo-I, and Puritan Bennett ventilators. The assignment provides an engaging opportunity to work in a Level II trauma facility performing open heart surgeries and trauma care, with on-call not required but weekend work mandatory.
