Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers ICU Registered Nurses the opportunity to work in a 33-bed unit specializing in trauma, cardiac, overdose, and vascular cases. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, with the freedom to self-schedule most core staff shifts, providing flexibility for your work-life balance. You will manage adult patients with typical diagnoses like sepsis, post-stent recovery, stroke, and renal failure, administering titratable drips such as cardiac, insulin, and sedation. Your role involves interpreting GE monitors, troubleshooting ventilators (Vents, Cpap, BiPap), and performing patient assessments in a fast-paced environment. This contract is unique for its emphasis on compliance, with specific policies around artificial nails, Driver’s license verification, and minimal block scheduling, ensuring a professional yet approachable setting for your expertise.
