Job Description:

Join a Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma, WA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care. This 13-week travel assignment offers a mix of PCICU and PICU patient care, focusing mainly on congenital heart defect post-surgical recovery, respiratory support, and trauma cases. You'll manage ventilators, chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips, while engaging in procedures like dressing changes and blood draws. The role provides an excellent opportunity to sharpen skills in a fast-paced environment, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend. Prepare to work with diverse patient diagnoses, including neuro, cardiac, respiratory, and surgical cases, and take advantage of the chance to support a team that values quick learning, critical thinking, and efficient time management.
