Job Description:

Join a vibrant medical-surgical neuro unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, Illinois. You will work three 12-hour day shifts each week, providing specialized care to patients recovering from neurological surgeries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries. This role demands proficiency in telemetry monitoring, neuro-specific procedures like spostomy care, IV therapy, and managing respiratory devices such as chest tubes and tracheostomies. You'll be part of a team navigating complex neurological cases, using Cerner charting, and adhering to strict infection control protocols. This position offers an engaging experience in a Level II Trauma Center where every shift presents a new challenge and opportunity to impact patient recovery.
