Job Description:

This physical therapy assignment at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA offers clinicians the chance to work within a dedicated inpatient rehab setting equipped with modern tools like C-Mill, FES bike, BITS, NMES, and Excite. As a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for providing specialized outpatient rehabilitation services in a team-oriented environment. The role involves engaging directly with patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, guiding them through therapy sessions, and documenting progress using the Medi-tech system. Expect shifts of 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with a total weekly commitment of 40 hours over a duration of 13 weeks. This assignment provides a balance of meaningful work and the opportunity to experience a supportive hospital community with state-of-the-art equipment and a focus on patient recovery.
