Job Description:

This travel nurse position is located at a busy Emergency Department in Lincoln, Nebraska, offering an engaging and intensive environment for experienced RN professionals. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of patients—including those with trauma, sepsis, chest pain, and trauma-related injuries—while working 12-hour day shifts. Your role will involve overseeing patient care in a fast-paced setting, communicating with physicians and mid-level providers, performing essential procedures like EKGs and breathing treatments, and ensuring smooth operations amidst a variety of urgent cases. The hospital provides a supportive team structure, with access to advanced equipment such as vents, CPAP, and BiPAP, and a system for efficient patient transport and diagnostics. This assignment promises an immersive experience in emergency nursing, where quick decision-making and comprehensive knowledge are critical to success.
