Job Description:

This surgical services assignment calls for a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) ready to support a busy short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR. You will rotate between various operating rooms, working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with responsibilities including maintaining sterile environments and assisting surgeons during procedures. Expect to float between units and handle on-call shifts, including weekday and weekend coverage, as part of the department’s staffing plan. Your work will involve a mix of technical precision and adaptability, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in endovascular procedures and work with the Epic charting system. This role offers a chance to step into a vibrant healthcare setting where your technical skills keep the operating rooms running smoothly for approximately 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks.
