Job Description:

Join Kent County Memorial Hospital as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Warwick, RI. You'll work on an inpatient acute rehab unit, providing essential support to patients recovering in a setting that values collaborative care. The role involves working Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with the possibility of floating to medical-surgical or acute care units. In this position, you'll be responsible for implementing treatment plans under the supervision of the PT, assisting with patient mobility, and documenting progress using Cerner (soon Epic). This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital environment while enjoying a supportive team and on-campus parking. The hospital values adaptability and clinical experience, especially in inpatient, IRF, or SNF settings.
