Job Description:

This 13-week contract in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses experienced in stepdown or cardiac care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, floating between units and managing cardiac drips with precision—requiring titration and careful patient monitoring. Flexibility is key, as you'll occasionally be floated to telemetry or medical-surgical floors depending on staffing needs. The role demands handling patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5, with no on-call requirements, and every other weekend commitment. This assignment provides a chance to deepen your skills in a robust acute care environment, with a focus on cardiac patient management in a Level II Trauma Center.
