Join a busy neuro and stroke step-down unit in Madison, where you will be integral in managing patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke and neurosurgery. This 13-week travel contract offers a balanced schedule of 12-hour day shifts, giving you ample opportunity to experience the vibrant local scene while providing expert telemetry care. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring patients with diagnoses such as stroke, trauma, and general med/surg issues, often working alongside a team to deliver precise neuro assessments, including NIHSS scoring and lumbar drain management.
