Job Description:
Step into a rewarding 13-week travel nursing adventure at a busy Level 2 trauma center in Lewiston, ME. As an RN on the Emergency Department night shift, you'll be central to managing a broad spectrum of cases, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, ventilated patient care, and triage, all while working with state-of-the-art equipment and supporting a team that values your expertise. This assignment offers a chance to experience Maine’s charming culture and scenic beauty in a working environment that’s both challenging and fulfilling. Plus, you'll be able to say you tackled the night shift at a true regional hub, managing trauma and critical care with a variety of patient needs all in a single shift.

Job Specifics:
Location: Lewiston, ME
Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (6:45 pm – 7:15 am)
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
Additional notes: No call requirements, float to ED holding is required, experience with dysrhythmia management and ventilated patients is essential. The hospital day-to-day includes working within a busy, accredited trauma center with a diverse patient mix, equipped with advanced tech like neuro tele and Care Aware devices. You will work with Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR systems, supporting a team that manages patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
