Job Description:
Join the team at Rumford Hospital, a small but vital critical access hospital nestled in the scenic landscapes of Maine. This 13-week travel assignment invites registered nurses to step into a pivotal role in the emergency department, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be the sole RN on duty alongside one other nurse, handling a diverse patient population across all ages and illnesses. Your days will involve critical triage responsibilities, utilizing your experience to deliver swift, quality care in a setting that values adaptability and professionalism. With a focus on emergency care in a close-knit environment, this role offers the chance to refine your skills in a unique, impactful setting—no two shifts are the same, and your expertise makes a real difference.

Job Specifics:
Location: Rumford, ME
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7p-7a
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours Per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
This role is designed for experienced emergency department RNs who excel at triage and can manage a broad spectrum of cases involving all ages. You will be working in a small hospital setting that services the entire River Valley area, handling everything from minor injuries to critical emergencies. Licensing and certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of ER experience and a proven ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
