Job Description:

Join our team as a travel Operating Room RN in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, and experience a rewarding 13-week contract that keeps you on your toes. You'll be circulating in a well-equipped, friendly hospital environment with three OR suites and one GI Endoscopy room. Your day will involve assisting with an array of surgical cases—from gallbladders and hernia repairs to total joint replacements and gynecological procedures. Expect about 8-10 cases daily, where your expertise and adaptability will shine. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn pre-op procedures, monitor cardiac rhythms, and support various aspects of the surgical process, all while working nights in a serene setting.

Job Specifics:

Location: Dover-Foxcroft, Maine
Shift: Nights, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks with 36 hours per week
This assignment focuses on circulating for a variety of surgical cases, with no robotics or neuro surgeries involved. You will work alongside experienced CRNAs and a dedicated team, with orientation provided to ensure a smooth transition. Expect to take call shifts after the initial training period, with a 20-minute response time, and support your team during major holidays. You must have at least 2 years of OR circulating experience and hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Cerner EMR experience is highly preferred, but those comfortable with EMRs and quick learners are also encouraged to apply. Scrubs are provided, and free parking is available.
