Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel nursing contract at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM, specifically on the Nephrology unit extending from Med/Surg. This role is perfect for RNs with at least one year of experience in Med/Surg, and experience in nephrology or an interest in the specialty is a plus. You'll be working 12-hour days in a facility renowned for its advanced case mix, including Level III trauma cases and state-of-the-art operating suites. Your focus will be on adult and geriatric patients dealing with conditions like ESRD, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis. Additional notes: This role involves working in a 24-bed Nephrology unit with a patient population mainly comprising adults and geriatrics. You will be utilizing equipment such as VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, and thermal imaging, and working within the Cerner EHR system. The position requires BLS certification (AHA) and a minimum of one year of Med/Surg experience, with preferred experience in nephrology or as a charge nurse.
