Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding 13-week contract as an Emergency Department RN in Springfield, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a 56-bed ED within a Magnet hospital that is a Level I trauma center. You'll be responsible for handling a diverse mix of adult and pediatric emergencies, managing complex cases such as trauma, stroke, and cardiac events. Your evenings will be filled with fast-paced challenges, interpreting dysrhythmias, managing multisystem organ failures, and administering emergency medications. The night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) runs four days a week, providing a balanced schedule that allows you to explore local attractions during your days off. This assignment will test your skills, keep you engaged, and offer competitive compensation of approximately $2,724.20 gross weekly—plus the chance to float within your scope in a facility that values your expertise.
