Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a varied and fast-paced Med/Surg and Tele float pool, where you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple units, including Geriatric, Palliative Care, Orthopedics, Trauma, Neurology, and more. This role offers a chance to gain exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical settings within a vibrant acute care environment. You'll be floating to different units based on staffing needs, making each shift unique—and yes, you might find yourself helping in the Emergency Department’s boarding patients or assisting in specialized units like Heme/Onc or Transplant. The night shift runs 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and the contract spans 13 weeks. It's a perfect fit for those who enjoy variety, autonomy, and making a real difference in patient care, all while experiencing the changing rhythms of this welcoming city.

Job Specifics:

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Shift: Night, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks with options for 36- or 48-hour blocks, every other weekend and holiday off, with flexibility for time off requests. Can accommodate up to 48 hours per week. BLS required, ACLS preferred.
