Job Description:

Join our team as a CVOR Surgical Technician in Wausau, Wisconsin, for an engaging 9-week contract. This role involves assisting in complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including procedures with thoracic robotics. You'll be setting up operative suites, ensuring all case carts are stocked, and assisting surgeons across multiple specialties while maintaining the pace of approximately 50-60 cases per month. Job Specifics:

Location: Wausau, WI
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Duration: 9 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Some mandated call work with a 30-minute response window, including one night of call weekly and weekend shifts every third weekend. Holiday rotation included.
This role requires a CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted) and BLS certification. Experience in cardiac/ thoracic surgery and thoracic robotic procedures is essential, with a minimum of 2+ years in CVOR. Responsibilities include prepping the operative suite, maintaining case carts, assisting in various surgeries, and supporting downtime tasks as needed.
