Job Description:

Join us in beautiful Rockport, Maine, as an OR Circulating Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at PenBay Medical Center. This role offers a chance to work in a small community hospital where teamwork and flexibility are valued. You'll be responsible for supporting multiple surgical service lines, including orthopedics, urology, OB/GYN, and general surgery, with standard OR equipment and EPIC electronic medical records. The schedule includes four 9-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call duties during weeknights and weekends—an opportunity to experience the local charm while staying professionally engaged. This position is perfect for experienced OR nurses who thrive in a team-oriented environment and are comfortable helping with room turnovers and assisting on other units when needed.

Job Specifics:

Location: Rockport, ME
Shift: 8-hour days (0700-1630)
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours, including call shifts
Shift Details: 4 days a week, with one weeknight call (1630-0700) and approximately one weekend call every 6 to 7 weeks with 48 hours on call. No scheduled weekend hours, only call duties.
