Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the Obstetric Emergency Department, where you'll experience the fast-paced rhythm of night shifts and make a real difference in the lives of mothers and babies. This 20-week contract in Stockbridge, Georgia, offers a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team, managing a patient population ranging from neonates to adults. You'll be responsible for autonomously performing vaginal exams, circulating, and triaging in a busy obstetric ED setting. The role requires a minimum of three years' labor and delivery experience outside a teaching hospital, with skills in using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Expect a shift schedule of 12 hours, with nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, and some floating within the service line to L&D, APU, or OR. This assignment is perfect for experienced RNs looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic environment, with a manageable call-out policy and holiday expectations.
