Job Description:

Join a 13-week journey on a stepdown unit just outside of Redding, CA, where you’ll be part of a specialized team caring for patients transitioned from ICU—patients with TBI, trauma, or recovering from major surgery. This role features 12-hour day shifts, giving you time to enjoy the local scenery while making a real difference. The unit emphasizes close monitoring and high-risk medication management, including titrating drips like Precedex and dopamine. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love teamwork, this opportunity allows you to sharpen your critical care skills in a supportive, traveler-friendly setting. Experience in ICU stepdown or PCU settings, including arterial and CVP lines, is essential, along with certifications like BLS and ACLS. The unit maintains a 3:1 nurse-patient ratio, with a dedicated team focused on patient safety and experience.
