Job Description:

Join us in this engaging travel healthcare role as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Dothan, Alabama. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, either 3x12 or 4x12, with a total weekly commitment of 48 hours over 13 weeks. The unit primarily handles medical-surgical patients, but also manages overflow from orthopedics and telemetry, with opportunities to work with cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone. This role offers the chance to gain experience in a busy, fast-paced environment where proficiency in managing drips is essential. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience, current certifications (BLS, NIHSS recommended, ACLS preferred), and the ability to work within ratios of 1:6 or 1:7. Scrubs are navy blue, and the role provides a welcoming setting for first-time float travelers, with previous staff ineligible for travel for the last 10 years.
