Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding step-down registered nurse contract in Kalamazoo, MI. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing vital care for med-surg and step-down patients in a GMU setting. This role offers the chance to build on your PCU/step-down experience while enjoying a schedule that includes every other weekend off. The assignment lasts for 13 weeks, with potential extensions up to 26 weeks, and involves floating to other med-surg areas such as the ER and AU. Expect to use equipment like Welch Allyn vital sign towers, sigma IV pumps, and document thoroughly in EPIC. If you have at least two years of PCU or step-down experience, starting IV skills, and a passion for patient care, this is your chance to shine in a supportive environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
