Job Description:

Join us for an engaging 16-week contract at a small rural hospital in Winnebago, Nebraska, where you'll be part of a dedicated laboratory team working overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. This role is perfect for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Medical Technologists who thrive on independence and are comfortable managing workflow independently. The position involves performing a variety of laboratory tests, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated, and managing specimens with accuracy and efficiency. It’s a unique opportunity to experience rural healthcare with the chance to develop your skills in a self-directed environment while contributing to critical diagnostics. Expect to work every other weekend and participate in holiday shifts as scheduled, with overtime available beyond 80 hours per pay period.
