Job Description:

Join a busy Level 2 trauma center in Long Beach that handles a wide variety of emergencies, from minor complaints to critical trauma cases. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity for experienced emergency department nurses to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges. You'll be part of a team managing approximately 40 to 160 patients daily, with a focus on trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases. The unit is equipped with Cerner and FirstNet EMR systems, and you'll be reading and interpreting your own EKG strips.
