Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel RN position at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, focusing on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. This role offers a sense of adventure beyond the routine with 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. If you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment handling a diverse range of diagnoses, this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your skills, including starting IVs, placing NG tubes, and caring for patients with continuous bladder irrigation. The unit has 25 beds with an overflow of 12 beds, and the ability to float within the facility ensures variety in your experience. It’s a great chance to work with electronic records using Cerner in a supportive setting, all while earning weekly gross pay around $1,740.65.

Job Specifics:

Please ensure your licensure as an RN in Indiana, and that you have current BLS and ACLS certifications. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience with strong skills in IV insertion, NG tube placement, Foley catheter care, and managing patients with continuous bladder irrigation. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is required. The role involves working in a busy unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, providing challenging yet rewarding experiences for dedicated healthcare professionals. Scrubs in Navy Blue are standard attire, and local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted to ensure coverage of travel needs.
