Job Description:

Join the rehabilitation team at our Oklahoma City facility, where you'll be instrumental in helping adult and geriatric patients recover from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. As a PTA, your days will be filled with using state-of-the-art therapy equipment like InMotion robotic arms and VR therapy tools, all within a specially designed low-stimulation, secure environment. This role offers the chance to work outside the traditional hospital setting, engaging patients in activities that foster independence and healing. Your work will contribute to unique features such as a therapy gym, outdoor healing garden, and patient apartments, creating a holistic recovery experience. The assignment provides an active, hands-on opportunity with a patient-to-therapist ratio of 6:1, in a 36-bed unit that emphasizes advanced rehabilitative care. The shift is an 8-hour day, with a 13-week duration, and typical weekly hours of 32, ensuring a manageable and impactful workload.
