Job Description:

Step into a pivotal role in emergency healthcare, where you'll be the first line of response in a busy general emergency department. This 10-week contract with a renowned short-term acute care hospital offers an engaging environment for ER nurses with at least two years of experience. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts—0700 to 1930—on a rotating weekend schedule, providing crucial care for both adult and pediatric patients. The setting involves managing complex cases like dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and IV therapies, including central line management and vasopressor administration. Float responsibilities may arise, but your adaptability will be appreciated as you contribute to life-saving efforts in a Level II Trauma Center affiliated with Yale New Haven Health System. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact during a busy winter season, with the support of a professional team and comprehensive certifications required, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
