Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ICU unit in Freeport, Illinois, for a 13-week travel contract where you'll be handling a variety of critical cases, including sepsis, stroke, DKA, and general medical and surgical diagnoses. This role offers the chance to run codes independently, manage titratable drips, and support a team that operates with a mix of primary care and backup coverage. The 12-hour day shifts provide a balanced workflow, and you'll experience the unique rhythm of an ICU that combines high acuity cases with some lower acuity patients. Your expertise in ICU nursing, especially with at least 2+ years of experience and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, will be vital to success here.
