Job Description

Join a 13-week travel assignment in Lufkin, Texas, as a Registered Nurse supporting a Med-Surg service with a strong orthopedic focus. On 12-hour night shifts, you will care for patients recovering from total knee, hip, and shoulder procedures, lumbar fusions, CVAs, encephalopathy, and other medical-surgical conditions. The role includes telemetry monitoring, IVs, Foley catheters, dressing changes, and related bedside nursing responsibilities.

Orthopedic experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required. Nurses work every other weekend, rotate holidays, and may float to another medical-surgical unit with similar staffing. The assignment includes three days of classroom orientation followed by two precepted shifts on the floor. Pack your night-shift essentials and get ready to make Lufkin your temporary home.
