Job Description

Take your next surgical adventure to Carlsbad as a travel Certified Surgical Technologist. You will prepare operating rooms and sterile fields, organize instruments and supplies, manage surgical equipment, pass instruments during procedures, handle specimens, and complete sponge and supply counts. This assignment includes general, orthopedic, obstetric and gynecologic, podiatric, urologic, plastic, endoscopic, trauma, and Da Vinci robotic procedures, with both adult and pediatric cases.

The schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with required call coverage of at least one weekday each week and a weekend rotation. Two or more years of experience and BLS certification are required. Fingerprinting is required for all New Mexico travelers.
