Job Description

This 13-week travel contract is designed for an experienced Cath Lab RN who is comfortable supporting interventional cardiology procedures on 12-hour night shifts. You will work with patients undergoing STEMI/NSTEMI interventions, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, CTOs, staged or protected PCI, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement, and cases involving IABP or Impella. Experience with EP, vascular, pulmonary embolism, or structural heart procedures is helpful but not required.

The role includes moderate sedation, titrating drips, managing groin sites and radial bands, recognizing rhythm changes, administering anticoagulants, and responding effectively with defibrillator and pacing equipment. You may also float to Cardiovascular Recovery or Interventional Radiology. The assignment includes weekday call, a rotating weekend call schedule with a 30-minute response time, and occasional late shifts. BLS and ACLS are required. Cerner, XPER, and IntellaSpace are among the systems used.
