Job Description

Join a 13-week travel contract as an Operating Room Registered Nurse supporting general and major surgical procedures in Galesburg, Illinois. This assignment includes 8-hour night shifts in a surgical department handling approximately 20–30 cases per day across general, orthopedic, gynecologic, podiatric, endoscopic, and ophthalmic specialties.

EPIC experience and operating room scrubbing are required. The schedule includes call coverage, with a 30-minute response time, and self-scheduling is available. BLS and ACLS are preferred but not required. No floating is expected, and scrubs are provided.

Weather

Expect generally cool, crisp conditions with a mix of clear skies, cloud cover, and occasional rain. Layered clothing and a light jacket should make it easy to stay comfortable while exploring the area.
