Job Description

Provide specialized care as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Baltimore, supporting adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. This 13-week travel assignment includes rotating day and night shifts in a high-acuity setting where you may care for patients experiencing cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced therapy workups. Strong CVICU experience is required, including proficiency with IABP and Impella devices. Responsibilities may include managing mechanical support, ventilators, CRRT, targeted temperature management, Swan/PA catheters, central and arterial lines, chest tubes, and other critical-care procedures. First-time travelers are welcome when they bring substantial CVICU expertise. Every other weekend and holiday coverage are required, with occasional floating within the specialty and to lower-acuity ICU areas.
