Job Description

Take your emergency nursing expertise on the road with a 13-week Emergency Room RN contract in Overland Park, Kansas. You will work 12-hour day shifts in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department, caring for patients with a broad range of urgent conditions, including dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction, respiratory emergencies, and patients requiring ventilatory support. Responsibilities include triage, isolation precautions, central line management, IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilated patient care. The assignment may include floating within scope to the ED Hold area, other departments, units, or facilities. Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments may be required. Eight weekend shifts are required during the six-week scheduling period. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC are required; CPI and MAB are preferred.
