Job Description

Take your NICU expertise to San Diego for a 13-week contract supporting high-acuity neonatal care in a Level 4 setting. This assignment is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent Level 4 NICU experience or strong Level 3 surgical NICU experience. You will care for complex newborns requiring oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, specialty gases, PICC lines, UACs, UVCs, PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-tubes, including pre- and postoperative care and line changes involving multiple drips.

The schedule is flexible and may include day or night shifts, with 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour schedules. The assigned shift may change when each new schedule is published, so flexibility with days, nights, weekends, holiday coverage, and floating within scope to PICU, CVICU, and satellite locations is required. First-time travelers are welcome with qualifying Level 4 experience. BLS and Advanced NRP are required; PALS is preferred.
