Job Description

Join a 13-week emergency department travel assignment in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, supporting a regional referral setting with a broad patient population. This role is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience who is prepared to manage emergency assessments, triage, IV starts, and telemetry while working 12-hour evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. As a night owl, you will help care for patients during the busy evening and overnight hours. Floating is required between Emergency Observation and Emergency Behavioral Health based on unit needs. Weekend coverage is required, with at least four weekend days per six-week time track. Familiarity with EPIC, Pyxis, SBAR, and shift huddles is useful, and an EKG test must be completed before the assignment begins.
