Job Description

Take on a 13-week Neuro ICU travel assignment in Washington, District of Columbia, supporting complex neurological cases on consistent 12-hour night shifts. This role is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience and one previous travel assignment. You will work with advanced equipment including EVDs, Raumedic bolts, Arctic Sun systems, CVVH, lytic catheters, FloTrac monitors, and occasional pulmonary artery catheters. Experience with conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, and ventilators is required; Level I trauma, pulmonary artery lines, IV starts, and phlebotomy experience are valued.

The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with 36 hours per week. There are no call requirements, though weekend and holiday coverage may be needed. Floating may occur to units with equivalent or lower acuity, including other ICUs or IMC areas. BLS, NIH, and ACLS are required, with CCRN preferred. A passing score on the required EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam is also necessary. Bring your neuro expertise—and your night-shift stamina—for a focused assignment in the nation’s capital.
