Job Description

This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced cardiac ultrasound professional focused primarily on inpatient examinations. You will prioritize and schedule exams, coordinate with medical staff and physician offices, prepare individuals for procedures, and perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms according to established protocols. Experience with contrast agents and bubble studies is required; transesophageal echocardiography and pediatric experience are helpful.

The role includes variable weekday and weekend coverage on three 12-hour day shifts each week. Responsibilities also include documenting exam results, charging accurately for exams and supplies, maintaining equipment and work areas, coordinating repairs or supply needs, and supporting staff education and quality-improvement initiatives.
