Job Description

Take on a 13-week travel contract as a Stepdown Registered Nurse in Hazard, Kentucky. You will work nights on a 3 South stepdown unit, caring for patients requiring close monitoring and higher-acuity nursing support. The assignment follows a 12-hour rotating schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36/48-hour schedule across the two-week pay period.

Candidates must have at least two years of recent PCU or stepdown experience, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH certification, and a valid Kentucky or compact nursing license. Floating within your scope of practice and working every other weekend are required. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. A flu vaccine is required; medical and religious exemptions are reviewed case by case.
