Job Description

Join a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit in Wilmington as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract. Working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, you will care for cardiac patients with conditions including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, pacemaker or ICD implantations, and pre- or post-cardiac catheterization needs. The role includes managing cardiac drips, performing sheath pulls, and working with TR Bands and FemStop devices while using EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR.

This assignment is suited for an experienced Cardiac Tele, PCU, IMC, or Stepdown RN with at least two years of experience. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and successful completion of an EKG test are required. First-time travelers are welcome. Weekend shifts are required, floating may be needed, and contract staff may be assigned to storm or hurricane response teams. Night owls will appreciate the consistent overnight schedule and 24 hours of orientation.
