Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity, cardiac-focused progressive care setting in Atlanta. This role is designed for an experienced cardiac nurse who can independently interpret telemetry, manage complex cardiac drips, and care for patients with conditions including heart failure, atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, chest pain, and fluid volume overload. The assignment includes frequent admissions and discharges, significant procedural activity, and care involving catheterizations, stents, valve replacements, pacemakers, cardioversions, ablations, chest tubes, and advanced cardiac therapies. EPIC experience is required, along with recent cardiac unit experience and the ability to pass a proctored dysrhythmia examination on the first attempt. Heart transplant and LVAD experience are preferred, with training available if needed. Travelers may float to similar cardiac progressive care units, but not to cardiac monitor technician roles.
