Job Description:

This travel registered nurse assignment supports cardiac intermediate care and step-down patients with higher-acuity cardiac diagnoses. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities to care for patients requiring telemetry, oxygen delivery devices, chest tubes, wound vacs, tube feeding pumps, and other monitoring and support equipment. Travelers may float first based on unit needs, and charge responsibilities may be assigned with training and an appropriate pay differential. This assignment welcomes first-time travelers and offers the chance to work alongside students and new hires in a teaching hospital setting.

Expect generally cool, crisp weather with comfortable daytime conditions and cooler evenings. Occasional rain may pass through, so layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.
