Job Description:

This travel contract is for an experienced registered nurse supporting post-anesthesia recovery in a short-term acute care setting. The role centers on monitoring and caring for patients across the lifespan after procedures, with opportunities to support a broad surgical mix, including orthopedic, neurologic, gynecologic, vascular, cardiac, and ophthalmologic cases. ICU experience is required, and the assignment may include occasional floating to the ICU within the nurse’s qualifications. Familiarity with ventilators, IV insertion, PICC lines, telemetry interpretation, and Epic charting is essential. When the recovery room gets busy, steady clinical judgment will be your best travel companion.
