Job Description:

This travel assignment is for an experienced emergency department registered nurse supporting a broad patient population in a non-trauma emergency setting. The role includes triage, isolation precautions, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, and care for patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics. Procedural sedation is a significant part of the work, with additional exposure to ventilated patients, vasopressors, neurological injuries, orthopedic trauma, and pediatric emergencies. The team-based setting includes physicians, a physician assistant, nurses, emergency department technicians, and a unit clerk. Rotating shifts may include occasional schedule flexibility based on department volume, along with weekend coverage and call responsibilities.
