Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare contract is designed for a PCU registered nurse caring for patients who require close cardiac and medical monitoring. You will manage telemetry, cardiac drips, chest tubes, IV starts, bedside cardioversion, and emergency response while caring for patients with conditions including COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, sepsis, and COVID. The schedule offers consistent overnight shifts, no on-call expectation, and welcomes first-time travelers with at least one year of experience. Navy scrubs are required.

Mount Vernon typically experiences crisp, cool late-fall weather with changing temperatures, occasional rain, and a mix of cloudy and bright days. Comfortable layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.
