Job Description:

This travel contract is designed for a PCU Registered Nurse with telemetry experience who is comfortable caring for intermediate medical patients and surgical overflow. You will work on a fast-paced 24-bed unit supporting patients recovering from procedures such as TURP, laparoscopic abdominal surgery, eye surgery, oral surgery, and hernia repair, along with patients needing diabetic teaching or wound care. The role includes cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition and management, IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, feeding tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, wound care, oxygen therapy, and emergency response support. Regular floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs. This assignment is best suited for an experienced PCU nurse who enjoys variety and a steady daytime rhythm.

Shift: 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
