Job Description:

Take on a travel contract as an emergency department registered nurse in Dodge City, Kansas. You will care for patients with conditions including abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension while working 12-hour night shifts. The emergency department sees approximately 30 patients per day, with nurse-to-patient ratios typically ranging from 1:4 to 1:5 based on acuity.

This assignment includes floating among emergency departments throughout a 60-mile regional zone. You will perform point-of-care testing, interpret telemetry independently, and collaborate with 24/7 respiratory therapy support. ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required. Weekend and holiday coverage is every other occurrence, with schedules created by leadership according to staffing needs.
