Job Description:

This travel assignment is designed for an experienced emergency department nurse ready to care for a broad range of patients in a high-volume setting. The department includes rapid medical evaluation, trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and approximately 120 patient visits per day. Travelers may care for patients with medical emergencies, motor vehicle injuries, overdoses, behavioral health needs, STEMI, and stroke-related presentations before stabilization or transfer. The assignment uses Epic, typically maintains a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and provides in-house respiratory therapy and pharmacy support. Night shifts are commonly scheduled in blocks, with every-other-weekend coverage required.
