Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced Labor and Delivery RN supporting an LDRP unit. You will care for pregnant patients, postpartum patients, and newborns, including deliveries at 36 weeks and beyond, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and hypertension. Responsibilities include attending deliveries, assisting with C-sections, managing postpartum care, using fetal monitoring systems, titrating oxytocin, insulin, and magnesium drips, and supporting newborn stabilization with a T-piece resuscitator. Block scheduling is permitted a high percentage of the time. When OB is closed, you may float to Med/Surg as a helping hand or take an assignment if you have prior experience.
